Baking Instructions
For Frozen Ready-To-Bake Blue Raeven Pie
- Keep your frozen pie in the freezer until ready to bake
- Pre-heat conventional oven to 350°F or convection oven to 325°F, though ovens may vary
- Remove the pie from the box, along with any plastic wrap
- Place the pie pan on a baking sheet
- Sprinkle top crust with a light dusting of sugar, if desired
- Bake 9″ pies for 75-90 minutes, 5″ pies for 60-75 minutes or until crust is golden brown and bubbly, reducing by 10 minutes for convection oven
- Remove pie from oven and let stand before serving at desired temperature
Warming Instructions
For Fresh-Baked Blue Raeven Pie
- Preheat oven to 350°F, though ovens may vary.
- Remove the pie from the box
- Place the pie pan on a baking sheet
- Reheat for 20 minutes or until desired temperature is reached
- Remove pie from the oven and let stand before serving at desired temperature
Baking FAQs
Our fresh baked pies are best kept in a refrigerator or the kitchen counter until enjoyed. Freezing is a great option if you do not plan to eat within 5-7 days after purchase.
Thawing is not required. Take it out of the box and remove that plastic wrap. Throw that delicious pie on a baking sheet right in the oven, follow our baking instructions and enjoy.
If you have to put a time on everything in the kitchen then we suggest 65-70 minutes. If you bake it like grandma did, don’t think about taking it out until it is golden brown and bubbly.
This is absolutely the best way to showcase the pie for a family event or potluck. It is best to transfer a pie from our tin to your plate after some refrigeration to help it hold together. We won’t tell anyone it was made in our kitchen and not yours!

We have a 5 day shelf life when sold from our trusted retail partners. For the best eating experience we recommend eating within a few days after purchase. Refrigerate for longer shelf life.
All of our baked pies can be refrigerated after purchase. This is not required but will extend the shelf life of the pie.
